Bold TV: What’s Up With Netflix And How Are They Doing?

Netflix, one of the largest video streaming platforms, is making sure that its brand is supporting social change in America. Back in June 2020, Netflix pledged to provide two percent of its cash holdings to Black-led banks and institutions. This year, they’ve outlined a plan to donate 100 million dollars to African-American financial institutions.


Netflix hopes the money will help spur a financial renaissance in Black communities. The first episode focuses on investing in Black communities, where the average resident has less access to credit and a net worth that is a fraction of Americans living in other neighborhoods.
